- to whom and where we send this data
Who is the controller of your personal data?

In order to exercise your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data, please contact us, preferably via e-mail address: iod@eBilet.pl or by correspondence to: Data Protection Officer, eBilet Polska sp. z o.o., Żelazna 51/53 Street, 00-841 Warsaw

In this case, the processing of your personal data will be carried out in accordance with the rules laid down by these entities contained, for example, in the privacy policy applicable to the services or applications available on the external websites or services.
Third-party administrators (our partners) may also process your personal data if you have given appropriate consents to the transfer of your personal data to them in the context of the cookie banner - so please read their personal data processing policies before you give them such consents.
If you do not understand the issues surrounding the operation of cookies or similar technologies, or if you are under the age of 16, please do not consent to their use.
What technologies are used on our websites and mobile apps?
This website uses cookies or other technologies and tools, such as, for example, pixels, local storage files tags, digital fingerprinting or scripts (collectively referred to as "cookies"), when you visit and use the website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, stored on the users' terminal equipment (such as computer, phone or tablet) and transferred by websites. These cookies allow the website to recognise the user's device and display the website correctly, including adapting the website to the user's individual preferences. They also allow the website to be displayed in the user's language "remembered" by these cookies, and allow other website settings chosen by the user to be used. Cookies typically contain the name of the website from which they originate, the length of time they are stored on your terminal device and a unique number. Depending on the website or mobile application you use, the type and number of cookies processed may vary.
Model installation process and the functioning of cookies
First visit on the website.
While the connection with the server is being established, after you have given the relevant consents if any are required, the server saves a cookie on your end device (e.g. computer, mobile, or tablet), which stores information about the language you want to use on the website.
Subsequent visit to the website.
When you visit the website again, the server reads the information included in the cookie stored on your device – this is why, for example, the website displays in the language you selected earlier.
How long are cookies stored on your end device?
The length of time cookies are stored on your end device depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" cookies.
Persistent cookies - are not deleted when you close your browser and remain on your device for a fixed period or without expiry date, depending on the settings of the website.
Session cookies - are placed for the duration of the use of the browser (session duration) and are deleted when the browser is closed.
What is the origin of cookies?
Own cookies (first party cookies) - are placed on websites directly by eBilet.
External cookies (third-party cookies) - placed on websites by parties other than eBilet.
What purposes do we use cookies for?
- ensuring security and preventing misuse (which includes preventing access by unauthorized persons);
- tailoring website content to the user’s preferences and end device, and to optimize the use of websites;
- preventing bots from doing certain things on our websites;
- making it easier to log in to the user’s account, also through social media, and to move between pages on the websites without the need to log in again on each page;
- preparing anonymous aggregated statistics that help us understand how the user uses the websites, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content;
- improving the functioning of websites, which includes checking their efficiency;
- identifying ads that the user has displayed and to display ads on our and external websites, including those that are best suited to the user’s activity on websites.
What data about you do we process?
We may process data regarding the way you use the website on your computer, mobile, tablet or any other device you use to access websites. Some of those data, when combined with other data, may qualify as personal data. We may process the following information using our Internet technologies:
- the name of the website from which the cookies originate, their storage time on the end device, and their unique number;
- device information (e.g. device type/model, unique device ID, MAC address, IP address, operational system, operational system version and device settings, the language set, screen resolution, type and version of Internet browser);
- events (e.g. time spent using the website, last visit on the website, duration of visit on the website, type of websites and pages visited, which stage the user is at in the purchase process);
- location data (e.g. IP address, information on your location obtained using various geolocation technologies);
- other data: information on using websites (e.g. source from which you enter, advertising campaign from which you accessed the page, links you clicked, ads you have seen, and consents you gave in the cookie banner).
Transferring personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area
Your personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. eBilet always operates on the basis of mechanisms that ensure an adequate level of protection, which include standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission regarding the transfer of personal data to personal data processors established in third countries. You can receive copies of such clauses from eBilet by writing to: iod@ebilet.pl.
Do we engage in the automated processing of your personal data (including profiling) in a way that affects your rights?
When you access our websites, data from the end device are processed in an automated manner due to it being evoked or due to activity on the website. This allows us as the data controller to evaluate certain factors that pertain to you, for the purposes for which we use cookies.
What cookies do we use?
Strictly necessary cookies – they are strictly necessary to ensure the proper or optimal functioning of the website or functionalities that the user wants to use, as without them we would not be able to properly provide many services that we offer. Some of them also ensure the security of services provided by eBilet online. Implementing them on the visitor’s end device does not require their consent. You can block the installation of strictly necessary cookies or remove them using your browser settings; in the extreme case, this may render it impossible, in whole or in part, to display the website, or may make it more difficult to navigate or even use it.
We process the personal data we obtain through the strictly necessary cookies:
- under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest pursued by the controller, which consists in ensuring the functioning of the website);
- under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract which the data subject is party to).

Tracking pixels
eBilet also uses tracking pixels. A pixel is software code that allows an object, usually an image the size of a pixel, to be embedded on a page, which provides the ability to track users' behaviour on the web pages where it is placed. The optimal operation of a pixel can be combined with the use of own cookies (first-party cookies) or external cookies (third-party cookies).
Once you have given the appropriate consent, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the server storing the pixel, so the processing of the data collected by the pixel takes place within the data protection policy of the entity that administers the aforementioned server, such as an eBilet partner. The partner may attribute your visit to the eBilet website if you are registered on its service, also in correlation with a possible cookie assigned to your session.
Model operation of a tracking pixel
When users click on a link/banner on the partner's website, they are directed to a page belonging to the advertiser. If they access the sub-pages on which the pixel is located, this information is then sent to the partner's server and then forwarded to the advertiser.
Thanks to the pixel, the advertiser obtains aggregated information on how many people who have used the link/banner on the partner's website have made a purchase from the partner, if the pixel has been planted on a page informing about the completion of an order.
Third-party functionalities or technologies
On our websites, we use third-party tools and services, in particular those related to providing services available through the site, as well as to analytics, advertising (including ads based on interests), re-marketing, or measuring the results of advertising campaigns. Providers of cookies or other technologies are listed above.
Below we describe selected tools from our providers:
- Google Analytics (Cookies/Server-side)
We use Google Analytics tools that collect information on the user’s visits to our websites and use of mobile applications in order to generate statistics on their functioning and to facilitate analysis of activity so that we can better adjust our offering to the needs of our users.

- Google Advertising Products (Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform)
Google Marketing Platform (Cookies/SDK/Server-side)
We use advertising and re-marketing tools. For this purpose, we use Google’s cookies for DoubleClick services. Third-party providers install the relevant code or pixel to collect information on the user’s activity on websites, and then, on that basis, they display our ads to the user who has visited our websites when they go to other websites operated by the advertising network of our third-party providers, and also collect information on the executed campaign, perform site analytics, and analyze segments.
Google Ads (Cookies/Server-side)
Google Ads allows us to display our offer within the Google search engine and on websites that belong to Google’s advertising network. With Google Ads, we analyze the effectiveness of ads, which helps us better adjust the offer to users’ expectations. After clicking the banner of an ad published by Google, cookies related to the Ads service are saved to the user’s computer.

Those code fragments are also used to collect data on users’ browsers, their visits on the website, or to set up cookies. However, Google Tag Manager is only a domain, which does not install cookies and does not process personal data. Your personal data are processed exclusively through the code fragments such as Google Analytics.
